This artwork is a tribute to my little sister, Zali, whose Aboriginal name is 'Tirrike' meaning 'happiness and hope' in the Peek Whurrong language.

It reflects the deep bond we’ve always shared. Growing up together, we became inseparable. From exploring, to sharing stories, or simply supporting each other through life’s challenges, every moment has strengthened our connection.

This piece captures that essence, the intertwined roots of family, and the journey of our relationship, which continues to grow with time. The spirit of Tirrike is strong, and this artwork is my way of honouring her and the love we've shared since childhood.”
