This artwork is a tribute to my little sister, Zali, whose Aboriginal name is "Tirrike," meaning "happiness and hope" in the Peek Whurrong language.

It reflects the deep connection we have always shared. Growing up together, we became inseparable. Whether exploring, sharing stories, or simply supporting each other through life's challenges, every moment strengthened our bond.

This artwork captures that essence, the intertwined roots of family, and the journey of our relationship, which continues to grow with time. The spirit of Tirrike is strong, and this artwork is my way of paying tribute to her and honoring the love we've shared since childhood."
